Industries we serve
Each industry has different load, access and hygiene requirements. The system is selected during the survey based on the goods and the forklift type.
Logistics and distribution
In distribution centres space efficiency and picking speed are considered together. In high buildings narrow aisle (VNA) pallet racking fits more pallets into the same area; fast-moving goods are picked from the lower levels while reserve stock sits above. Picking areas are built as medium duty shelving on a mezzanine.
Food and cold storage
Because volume is expensive in cold stores, drive-in layouts are preferred for few SKUs in large quantities. A galvanised finish is offered to prevent paint cracking at low temperatures. In food warehouses the clearance under the racks and floor marking are planned to meet hygiene audits.
Automotive and supply industry
Hand-loaded medium duty shelving for spare parts and semi-finished goods, die racks for heavy tooling and cantilever racking for long profiles, pipes and sheets are used together. In stores next to production lines forklift and pallet truck traffic is separated; upright protectors are recommended as standard.
Pharmaceutical and chemical
Pharmaceutical and chemical warehouses require every bay to be addressed and quarantine and rejected-goods areas to be physically separated. Areas are divided with wire dividers and colour-coded labels on the pallet racking; in temperature-controlled sections wire decking and open racking keep the air circulating.
Public archives and libraries
Document volumes in public archives grow every year; in limited rooms mobile shelving provides up to 80% more capacity than static shelving. Open shelving for frequently used files and lockable mobile units for long-term storage are planned together, with shelf sizes and labelling to State Archives regulations.
Retail
Wall units, gondolas and checkout displays follow the store plan, while medium or light duty shelving equips the stockroom. Chain stores get the same layout in every branch through standard modules and corporate colours; installation is scheduled around opening dates.
